Home care and community
Simple solutions for effective care
Caring for someone at home or in the community is one of our most common care situations and places extra demands on products as well as caregivers. Common challenges include managing people with reduced mobility as well as impaired vision, hearing and dexterity. In addition it is important to manage the risk, prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers within the home and community setting. Many of our solutions have been developed precisely for these situations.
Contact your Hill-Rom representative if you need help in planning the installation of overhead lifts, or suggestions on a suitable sling, specific healthcare bed or therapeutic surface. All of our sales representatives are highly experienced consultants who have special experience in moving and handling patients and/or pressure-ulcer management.
